Matthew is VP, and leads Elevate’s Flexible Legal Resources solution which provides customers with flexibility and robustness in meeting their legal resourcing requirements, and provides talent with a class-leading platform to develop their careers and expertise. Matthew’s prior roles at Elevate include VP, Legal Business Solutions (which focused on extending and enabling the operations of corporate law departments and the practice support functions of law firms), and the Head of Consulting in the US. Prior to joining Elevate in 2016, Matthew served as Executive Director and Global Head of Legal Business Solutions for JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he managed law​ department operations, including the management of outside counsel, as well as the creation and implementation of strategic cost and relationship management programs.

Prior to that, Matthew served in a senior management role with law firm Reed Smith, where he oversaw the firm’s knowledge management initiatives and the creation of the team responsible for legal project management and alternative fees; and with WilmerHale, where he served as Managing Director, Information and Research Services. Matthew was previously the CTO/CKO of LawPort and prior to that a practicing solicitor for a London-based law firm.  Matthew holds an LL.B and LPC from the University of Bristol and is an England & Wales Solicitor.
