Steve has over 20 years’ experience working in large in-house business development and legal organisations and has led the legal and corporate development functions since 2018. Steve was a founder of CLOC–the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium–and is a generally acknowledged international leader in the genesis of the professionalization of the legal operations role and was formerly Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Cisco. Over the course of his career at Cisco, he had lead responsibility for technology licensing for the routing segment and had oversight for the legal development of the telepresence line of collaboration products. Additionally, he owned top-level responsibility for Global Export Compliance, Trademarks, sales support for the professional services organisation, and the award-winning legal operations function. Steve received his JD and BS in Management Information Systems and Services from Brigham Young University.
