As an expert in medical billing and bodily injury litigation support services, Marilyn testifies in state and federal court on issues involving the reasonable value of medical care. Before joining Elevate in 2012, Marilyn founded a medical billing service for multiple independent physician practices filing 1,000 claims per month.​

She has over 25 years of medical billing and coding experience, 20 years of conducting third-party payer contract and reimbursement negotiations, 15 years managing the billing department of a medical practice with ten physicians and 50,000 patient visits per year, and 10 years handling the operations of a 90-physician multi-specialty practice.
