We need to support the makers
September 07, 2015
If we as a society want to encourage more entrepreneurs and the younger generation, we need infrastructure that supports them; from access to finance for their enterprise to assistance with their mortgage and even providing SMP for entrepreneurs.
Despite media speculation about the entrepreneurial spirit of the younger generation, the average age of an entrepreneur in the UK is 47 (46 for men and 48 for women), according to research from Sandler Training. US research puts the figure a little lower, saying 40 is the average age to start your first business.
