June is Pride Month. Beyond a chance to celebrate the uniqueness of the LGBTQIA+ community, it also provides an opportunity to reflect on how diversity has evolved and continues to develop within our society.  The history of June as ‘Pride’ parallels that evolution: what began as a movement today recognises the resilience and determination of the many individuals – whether colleagues, friends, or family – who fought to live freely and authentically within our communities.

The themes of authenticity and community resonate at Elevate. Acknowledge. Allow meaningful opportunities for diverse and underrepresented voices to communicate and share as a first step toward addressing their concerns.

Support. Take action – personally and professionally – to ensure all members of your community feel valued and respected.
