More Evidence of Gender Inequality Within the Legal Profession

June 16, 2015

This is a double blow. We recently saw the stats that only 29% of partners within the top 20 firms are women & only 8 women in leadership positions within the top 50 law firms. Now the pay gap figures.

The average salary for a man was £87,820, while the average salary for a woman was £63,518. This figure is skewed by the fact that there are more men in senior positions across the legal profession.
