Law firms need to adopt innovative structures

I love this quote by one of our lawyers. Law firms like many organizations need to find new, innovative ways of working. Just because we are in a global economy does not mean we all have to work all the hours. We need to think outside the box to create innovative corporate structures.

Halebury is a firm made up of former in-house lawyers that has flexible hours and other working arrangements built in to its business model. Having trodden ‘the traditional path’ at large commercial firms, Jeanneret says she now works ‘in a structure… established to put the wellbeing of the lawyer at the heart of what they do’.
