With 2022 in full swing (how is it February already?), Elevate turns its attention to our first significant event of the year: Legalweek 2022. We are excited to get back to conferences in-person and to greet everyone with an elbow bump or a wave.

As part of Elevate’s participation, we will conduct two TED-style talks on AI, data, and digitalisation as well as lead a discussion on law firm practice management.

Elevate expert Sharath Beedu kicks off the Legal Talks series with his session The Future of ELM and Legal Tech-Driven Automation. Sharath’s session focuses on how the evolution of technology in the legal industry parallels those of other industries. He will also feature insights into the future state of legal tech. Directly following, Dr. Daniel Katz discusses Leveraging Your Data and Implementing AI. This session will walk you through understanding data from your various point solutions and using AI to make strategic decisions. One of ALMs senior editors will join Dan and Sharath for Q&A to round out the session.

Later in the day, Elevate’s Stephen Allen moderates the session You Don’t Just Flip The Switch: Mastering The Art of People, Process, and Technology. This discussion will address the importance of people and provide strategies to increase buy-in and commitment for new technologies. It will also assess the critical pillars of every law department’s change management and governance plan and highlight certain pitfalls and challenges that often occur during technology change initiatives. Joining Stephen on stage will be:
