Val Pitt is the Director, leading the Legal Talent business unit at Elevate across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. She helps law departments and law firms structure and resource legal work more effectively through flexible, data-driven talent models. She works with customers to deploy flexible lawyers, fractional leadership and embedded specialists, including legal operations professionals, legal engineers, and data analysts, to build legal capability that is agile, cost-effective, and aligned to business priorities.

She brings over four decades of experience in the legal industry, including founding and leading an eDiscovery business for 25 years before transitioning into legal resourcing advisory following its acquisition.

Val received the ALPMA Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Industry Award in 2023, served on the board of the College of Law Victoria until 2024, and was included in the 101 Women in Law list.
