LONDON – Global law firm Hogan Lovells today launches a new flexible lawyering programme powered by law company Elevate. This initiative is the latest addition to Hogan Lovells Legal Services Delivery (LSD) armoury – focused on improving the way in which the firm delivers its services to clients.
The new flexible lawyering programme will draw from Hogan Lovells Alumni to develop a pool of skilled and experienced flexible lawyers who can be assigned to meet capacity for projects or secondments leveraging the Elevated Lawyers platform.
Commenting on the launch, Susan Bright, Regional Managing Partner, UK and Africa, Hogan Lovells, said: “As the regulatory climate and client demand for legal services change, so the legal profession must change and adapt with it. We have long recognized that our clients face evolving challenges and operational pressures, and this new approach will help to deliver our legal services in a way that reflects those challenges in an efficient, flexible and cost-effective manner.”
The partnership with Elevate and their Elevated Lawyers service will form part of Hogan Lovells legal service delivery offering that the firm brings to clients alongside: core legal teams; Legal Delivery Centre(s); Johannesburg; Legal Project Management; Artificial Intelligence; general LawTech and legal function consultancy.
Stephen Allen, Head of Legal Service Delivery, Hogan Lovells, commented: “Our flexible lawyering programme will be of particular importance when clients are dealing with significant, broad impact matters such as Brexit and GDPR. While it will benefit us in lawyer management terms, the greatest value will be to our clients as they are provided with a greater range of options in how we can resource their projects while retaining the Hogan Lovells assurance of quality.”
John Croft, President of Elevate, added: “Hogan Lovells understands that clients are looking to buy legal services differently. They are looking for law firms to collaborate with law companies to provide the full suite of services they need. We are delighted that Hogan Lovells has chosen to partner with us again and we believe this service puts the firm ahead of its competition. The Flexible Lawyering programme, powered by Elevate, will give Hogan Lovells the 21st century lawyering flexibility it and its clients need.”
