PHOENIX, ARIZONA – November 6, 2019 – Elevate was honored to win the Awards for Outstanding Service Provider (Americas and Global) as well as the Award for Operational Improvement (Global), jointly with VMware, at the 2019 IACCM Annual Americas Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on November 4-6, 2019. The IACCM Innovation & Excellence Awards program recognizes “individuals and teams who are raising the profile of contract and commercial capability within their organizations” and “celebrates innovation in contract and commercial practices.” Elevate’s winning submission for Outstanding Service Provider demonstrated how we identify business challenges, create outcome-based solutions, and implement those solutions for greater business impact by presenting an overview of our work with these key customers:

• Univar Solutions – Assisting in managing Univar’s legal spend down and embracing a #DoLessLaw philosophy through simplified templates, better technology, faster intake and more self-service for the business
• Seattle Genetics – Helping SeaGen to cut the time for signing contracts by 50% by developing and implementing a user-friendly intake tool to enable innovative cancer treatment drugs to enter the market sooner
• VMware – Working with IACCM to re-engineer the VMware contracting function to allow for specialty, automation and better business service

Elevate also shared the 2019 Award for Operational Improvement (Global) with VMware for building out a transactional support strategy to accelerate VMware’s cloud transformation (including benchmarking from IACCM) and for forming a Global Legal Services team to focus on complex, transformational deals.
