I joined Elevate to gain broader industry experience and career flexibility. The opportunity to work with a variety of clients and on varied projects was appealing and has allowed me to deepen my anti-money laundering expertise while expanding my professional network. It’s been an excellent experience all around.
What do you like most about working as a flexible lawyer for Elevate?
Two aspects of my work with Elevate stand out: the mix of contributing both individually and as a team member on projects aligned with my interests and the chance to work remotely, which has provided a broader range of subject matter and industry experience that would not otherwise be available. Also, Elevate’s support system, particularly its global knowledge network, has proven a valuable aid in my professional development.
What legal work are you most passionate about?
I find sanctions compliance and regulatory issues especially compelling because they involve complex challenges that require innovative solutions. I also enjoy that they provide an opportunity to detect and mitigate financial crimes.
What aspects of being a secondee do you find most interesting or rewarding?
The variety of work and the ability to collaborate with my teams are especially rewarding. They keep each assignment dynamic and engaging.
