SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – OCT 31, 2018 – Global law company Elevate announced the appointment of Steven Walker as Managing Director, Law Department and Contracts Consulting, Asia Pacific, to further expand Elevate’s consulting practice serving law departments and law firms.

Walker served for several years as Vice President and South Pacific General Counsel for Hewlett Packard and was instrumental in the company’s global legal transformation and contracting optimisation programs. Most recently, his consulting business, Gen2Law, has helped law departments and firms navigate strategy and technology, and he will continue to work with these customers at Elevate.

Based in Australia, Walker will work alongside Jon Kenton, Elevate’s Head of Consulting for APAC, to help solve challenges faced by law departments.

Walker was recently appointed as a Fellow of the College of Law’s new Master of Legal Business program in Australia. He has been an active participant in the legal innovation community for many years, serving on the IACCM Advisory Board and the Law Society of New South Wales’ Future of Law Committee. He collaborates actively with both the ACC and CLOC.
