Elevate’s Score at Halftime

legal ops DEI artificial intelligence
Elevate does not receive points each time ranking organisations single us out or event organisers and journalists turn to Elevate Experts to speak or serve as sources. But halfway through 2024, we have racked up more than a few notable instances of these, particularly involving our Experts’ insights on numerous issues related to AI, legal tech, and more. The highlights include:
FT + AI + ALSP + LB + PP. In a Financial Times article earlier this month on AI and so-called alternative legal service providers, Miriam Rozen quoted Elevate CEO and Founder Liam Brown and VP Innovation Pratik Patel on how AI will – and won’t – affect the ongoing need for law companies.
The High(est) Ranking Déjà Vu. June also saw Chambers – for the ninth consecutive year – rank Elevate as a Band 1 (highest ranking) in all eligible categories. This year, the rankings appear in the inaugural edition of Chambers’ NewLaw Guide, which includes all categories formerly in Chambers’ guides to ALSPs and LawTech, along with Legal Transformative Consulting. A Chambers Band 1 ranking indicates consistently superb customer service and exceptional business value.
Nihao, Kon’nichiwa, and Annyeonghaseyo! In May, Elevate announced our acquisition of The CJK Group, a best-in-class provider of multi-language support of litigation, investigations, and transaction-based due diligence to law firms and corporations across Asia and North America. Numerous leading industry publications, including LegalTech News, Law360, and Legal IT Insider, reported on the acquisition.
Hear, Hear! (And Read, Read!) CLOC selected Elevate VP of Legal Services Kunoor Chopra to moderate the panel “Putting the AI in DEIB” at the annual CLOC Global Institute this May in Las Vegas. Kunoor and the session’s panelists discussed the use and implications of artificial intelligence to help law organisations identify and hire a more diverse set of professionals better than previously possible. Meanwhile, ACC Docket, the flagship publication of the Association of Corporate Counsel, published another installment of Elevate COO and GC Steve Harmon’s ‘Legal Ops Corner’ column.
